A coach who's been exactly where you are
Monica started her strength training journey in 2017, right out of college, having never done any proper strength training. She tried powerlifting for a year before discovering Olympic weightlifting — and has been competing since 2018.
Most recently, she placed 2nd in the 59kg open category at the 2024 Texas-Oklahoma WSO Championship. But what makes Monica special as a coach isn't just her competitive success — it's that she remembers what it was like to be a complete beginner.
