Monica Parucho - Coach

About Monica

I began my strength training journey in 2017, having recently graduated from college and never having any proper strength training under my belt. I tried powerlifting for a year but was captivated by Olympic weightlifting. I've been competing in the sport since 2018 and most recently placed 2nd in the 59kg open category at the 2024 Texas-Oklahoma WSO Championship.

As a USA Weightlifting Level 1 (USAW L1) certified coach, I love guiding people through their strength training journeys, whether they're beginners looking to build foundational strength or experienced lifters refining their technique. My coaching philosophy is rooted in providing a safe, encouraging, and welcoming space where individuals can push their limits and become stronger, both physically and mentally.
